Senior Clinical Psychologist
Dr Laura Coey O'Halloran
Dr. Laura Coey O’Halloran is a Chartered Senior Clinical Psychologist and Visiting Lecturer in Psychology at Trinity College Dublin. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, both from Trinity College Dublin.
With over a decade of experience, Dr. O’Halloran has worked extensively with children, adults, couples, and families across community and hospital settings. She is a highly skilled and compassionate therapist, offering a holistic, client-centered approach. Her therapeutic practice integrates a range of evidence-based modalities tailored to individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and psychodynamically informed approaches.
Dr. O’Halloran also has specialist expertise in psychological assessment, including neuropsychological evaluations, autism and ADHD assessments, personality, and educational assessments. In addition to her clinical work, she is an experienced researcher and has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed journals and academic publications.

Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr Phillip Coey O'Halloran
Dr. Phillip Coey O’Halloran is a Chartered Senior Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience across a range of paediatric and specialist services within the Irish healthcare system. He currently works in the Department of Neurology at Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) at Crumlin, where he provides psychological support to children and families navigating complex neurological conditions. Dr. Coey O’Halloran is also an Honorary Lecturer on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme at Trinity College Dublin. He completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Research Psychology at University College Dublin (UCD), followed by a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Trinity College Dublin.
Dr. Coey O’Halloran has worked across diverse settings, including child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS), primary care psychology, early intervention teams, children’s disability services, and specialist tertiary services. He has a strong foundation in working with a wide range of psychological, developmental, and behavioural difficulties, and he is committed to empowering children and families with the tools and support they need to thrive.
